Our hunting camps are as good as you will find, but a week in the wilderness is not for everyone. Some hunters like to hunt bull elk hard all day before sleeping in a comfortable bed at night. Some hunters want to shoot a Monster Muley in the morning and catch thier favorite team on the tube later that afternoon. Other hunters need internet access for a few hours each day just to stay in touch or run their business. If this sounds like you then our lodge hunts may be the best option for you. Now don't misinterpret this hunt as easy. We ride out from the lodge each morning to find the game and may spend all day in the field. Elk and deer are plentiful in the area but they travel many miles each day and so do we. You will arive at the lodge the day before the hunt. After checking your rifle for accuracy at altiude you will relax and enjoy a home cooked meal. Most hunters gain a few pounds while staying in our camps or lodge. Push away from the table if you can and turn in early. Be prepared to eat breakfast and ride out before dawn each day and get into the elk and deer first thing. These are our premium hunts and are as good as any you will find in Colorado. All meals are provided.

Most hunters get a shot but we never guarantee a kill. Please practice practice practice with your bow or gun before arriving at our lodge. We have a range on site and you're welcome to shoot as much as you like but not the time or place to learn to shoot your gun!

We will handle packing your meat to the lodge where it can hang in cold storage until you return. Several meat-processing companies are located nearby. We have a meat grinder on site for those do it yourself meat processors.
