For me there is simply no greater thrill than hunting a bugling bull elk. Those few who are fortunate enough to experience the sound of elk bugles as the sun rises and sets over the
Rocky Mountains have their lives changed forever. I still get excited each time I hear a bull bugle in a far away canyon. No words can explain the sensation of accompanying a bow hunter as a Bull Elk responds to my bugles and cow mews.
I know this animal is in a constant fight to retain his rank among the herd. The truly lucky among us have been able
to harvest such a magnificent animal. I am fortunate enough to accompany many elk hunters as they harvest there first or tenth bull. This is a thrill
that is hard to duplicate for the hunter and I consider myself blessed.
Every hunt is special in it's on way but, for me the western Bull Elk hunt is unmatched in challenge and adventure.
